Asian Handicap
A betting format that removes the draw by giving one team a fractional or whole-number goal handicap. Eliminates the three-way outcome, offering two near-equal-probability sides. The most popular football bet type among Filipino bettors at happyplay.
Moneyline
The simplest bet — pick the outright winner with no handicap. Used in basketball (PBA/NBA), boxing, UFC, and baseball. The favourite pays less; the underdog pays more.
Over/Under (Totals)
Bet on whether the combined score of both teams will be Over or Under a number set by happyplay. For PBA games, this might be 195.5 total points; for football, 2.5 goals.
Point Spread
One team is given a points head start (similar to handicap). If you back the favourite with -5.5 points, they need to win by 6 or more for your bet to pay out. Common in NBA betting.
Parlay / Accumulator
